1.Using Vowela

These terms apply when you create an account, build or buy a wedding website, or visit one. By using Vowela, you agree to them. You need to be at least 18 to create an account.

2.Your account

  • Keep your login details safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
  • Give accurate information, and keep your email address up to date so you receive reminders.
  • One account can own one wedding website.

3.Plans and payment

Designing a website is free. You pay once, in Philippine pesos, when you publish (or, for done-for-you websites, after the price is confirmed with you). Prices are shown before you pay.

Refunds: the conditions will be confirmed here before launch. Payments are processed by our payment provider.

4.Hosting and renewals

Every plan includes 12 months of hosting from the day your website is published. You can renew to keep it online. See Hosting and renewals for how reminders, renewals and expiry work.

5.Done-for-you websites

  • Our team builds your website from your design brief and the photos and details you send.
  • Two rounds of changes are included. Further changes may be quoted separately.
  • Your website goes live after you approve it.
  • Timelines start once we have your brief, and depend on you replying to our questions.

6.Your content

You own your photos, words and guest list. You give us permission to store, display and adapt them only as needed to run your website, for example resizing photos for phones.

We won’t use your wedding in our marketing without asking you first.

Only upload content you have the right to use, and only add guests’ details for the purpose of your wedding.

7.Acceptable use

Don’t use Vowela to:

  • Post anything illegal, hateful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
  • Collect guests’ information for anything other than your wedding.
  • Send spam, or try to break or overload the service.

We may take down content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

8.Service and liability

We work hard to keep websites online and RSVPs accurate, but we can’t promise the service will never be interrupted. Please keep your own copy of important details, such as an exported guest list. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for your plan.

9.Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is important, we’ll email account holders before it takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Questions? Contact us.
